OUR STORY

Quantum Food Preservation was founded by two passionate individuals with complementary expertise: Teun van Kempen and Saajan Zandvliet. What started as an academic project during a minor course quickly evolved into a groundbreaking business that aims to solve one of the biggest challenges in the food industry. Food waste.

Teun, with a degree in Entrepreneurship & Retail Management in the Netherlands, brings years of experience in marketing and customer relationship management. His strategic vision and entrepreneurial spirit drive the company’s growth and market presence.

Saajan, with a degree in Chemistry-Life Sciences, has an extensive background in immunology, toxicology, organic chemistry, and microbiology. His scientific expertise is the backbone of our product development, ensuring our preservation technology is both effective and sustainable.
